“What I remember most about high school are the memories I created with my friends.” – J.J. Watt
The ‘Alumni Association of St Joseph's College, Coonoor’, was registered in the year 2014. However, the ‘Old Boys Association’ was initiated in the early seventies. It is an endeavour to bring young people whose lives were shaped and nurtured in this campus to come back and share their cherished memories and continue to grow with a spirit of camaraderie as Josephites in keeping with its valued Motto “NUNQUOM NON PARATUS”.
The school boasts of its distinguished alumni who have opted for the civil services to serve the country and several others who have excelled in various fields such as business, politics, education, technology, agriculture, industry, sports and many more both nationally and internationally. As on date we are proud to have 1300 registered members of the Association.
The association is very active and regularly conducts its meetings with a committed set of elected office bearers. Several activities are regularly held to bring about a ‘we feeling’ among the old boys. In its 125th year that was celebrated it was able to bring together around 800 old school boys from all over the globe to share happy memories of school life.
The school wishes every student who passes out to become an active member of the association. The association has enabled former students to meet and further their own networking interests.
It is also the endeavour of the association to enhance the growth and development of the school and the varied needs of students. From raising scholarships funds for the lesser privileged students to infrastructure development, the alumni have never hesitated to extend a helping hand both financially and through their own expertise.
The school is ever grateful to the alumni for their support.
All alumni are invited to register themselves continue to be associated with the school.
